A Kernel Crushing Plant (KCP) is a facility that processes palm kernels into palm kernel oil (PKO) and palm kernel meal (PKM) by mechanical pressing. PKO is an important raw material for the oleochemical and food industries, while PKM is used as animal feed. KCPs complete the palm oil value chain so that every part of the fruit is used.
